Anyone thinks this is true?

I use to think it's just a beautiful phrase for the idealistic scenarios is life.

But now i think likewise.

Is it because of my constant company that has eventually turned myself into a safety net?

A safety net which is negligible? A safety net which you know you can rely on, which then you can persue other interests knowing if anything else fails, the net will be there? Or safety net which has been there for so long, which has been there all the while that it needs changing, like old bedsheets?

I do not know myself.

But to be there constantly, is to show the overflowing love and care, not something to be taken for granted.

Just away for awhile, and busy for a moment, things turned out like this.

I'm writing here cause i know not much people will see. As i've said, this will be my personal haven. Random people will not pass.

I do not know what i'm feeling now. I do not know how to live my life now. I do not know if life should continue. I do not know a lot of things.

But i do want to know a lot more. It isn't a good thing to know things 1st hand, but it'll be worse if you're the last to know.

I don't know what i should say at this moment. Or do. Or think.

I'm living my life on a slippery cliff now. When it will slide, when it will end, or when a rope will drop for me to hold on, i do not know.

I'm enlisting tomorrow.

I'm having many regrets now. And i'll be missing a lot of ppl.

Or maybe just one. But not that it matters anymore.

I'm going in with a heavy feeling. I know things are going to change.

For better or for the worst, i dunno. But i fear for the worse.

But i know i'm not going to stare at the same celing before i fall asleep tomorrow.

Or spend the same time on the phone every night.

Msging people i'll miss with no time constrains.

Afford to think that i have lots of time to spare.

Sleeping at unearthly hours with company.

And of course, spending time with someone that i enjoy doing it.

Non of that is gonna carry over. I'm officially going to the next chapter of my life.

So in short, i'm going in, and i'm having mixed feelings.

I just want to live yesterday again. Rewind it and i would like to redo things that i've done or undo the mistakes i've made.

Then maybe i'll be happy and living without regrets. But we all know it's not possible.

But i still don't look forward to work. 8:30am to 6pm, 5 days a week is torture.

Even ITP wasn't so long. Oh well. Gonna work till army already.

Still training on NAPFA. Just ran with BP at 8pm.

It's been a roller-coaster ride lately.

On one hand, I've been worrying my ass off that i won't graduate, but the results came out fine.

On the other hand, [personal]

I'm really glad it came out fine. I was worrying a lot. Oh well maybe it wasn't that fine.

Imagine this little butterfly that magically makes you fly and see the world.

Just as you've caught the glimpse of the most beautiful moonlit ocean,

Anyways, just attended class chalet. Not as fun but, it'll be a memorable one =)

I know its the holiday season and i know its supposed to be jolly.

But my god for 6 days straight i have been enjoying more than the holiday.

He's been destroying household stuff and calling degrading names.

Oh ya today is the worse. He aimed this shit at me. Yes what the fuck he spit at my laptop/psp, called me a dog, threaten to punch me and destroyed a battery charger and the house phone.

Oh no i'm not talking about anyone but my BROTHER. Yes my chao-ah-beng younger brother.

Yeah he's a chao-ah-beng. His friends are like street thugs.

And all for what? SINGPASS and NS DEFERMENT. Yes i must emphasize this, so sorry for the caps.

He can play games for 14 hours straight, from the time his eyes opens till he sleeps. And he doesn't know how to read the 2 page instruction sent by SAF to defer his NS.

Oh and because his inability to read the fucking onscreen instruction, he got locked out of his Singpass for 3 times. YES in 5 days he got locked out 3 times.

It's not like he's dyslexia or anything, its just that his patience is ridiculous.

And my dad used to beat the crap out of me whenever i throw a fit. The worse one was he literally grabbed my hair and slapped me repeatedly.

But for my brother, they treated him like a god. I think they worship him. He is the untouchable and he's even got guts to push my mom just now. I mean what the fuck.

Please, whatever's up in the heavens, please make him beat me up one day so that i can personally send his sorry ass to jail.

And sorry i had to show everyone my 家丑 in my blog on a New Year Eve. I just had to let everyone know that if one day i die or got beaten up by some street thugs, you'll know who to look for.

Anyway i want to describe this horrible thing that happen last night.

You know, after sentosa, you'll have sunburn? Yeah i think i have a real serious case of sunburn.

After i bathed last night i had the itch of my life. Not your typical itch.

It's this super itch that feels more like thousands of poisonous fire ants biting you all at once.

That was the 1st time i was squirming and bashing around from an itch. Super extreme.

Apply cream made it worse and it lasted an hour. Omg i wonder how am i going to bathe later.

I think i'll be good and apply sunblock next time.

Monday today!

You know the best part of having an empty timetable on monday? No monday blues!

Anyway SITEX ended yesterday. Let's talk about the bright side 1st. This is one of the fun shows i've ever worked in. Lots of friendly guys and babes working together. And my counter staff is crazy too LOL.

And got to know Li Ming's friend's niece. Crazy person.

I didn't realised that there's was an advert stuck right in the middle of my blog's navi bar until i view it with IE. Damn ugly! But i cleaned it up. And added some new stuff.

Well this week's really happening. Work with serene at Health Zone on Wed and Thurs. Got to know a new friend there. Although I knew a few guys and girl too, but didn't manage to get their contacts. =S

The work.. Well, it's interesting. I'm stationed at a game booth. To play tic-tac-toe with little kids. And at the same time teach them the importance of preventing myopia. And have the recite the slogan: "SEE THE WORLD WITH SPARKLY EYES".

Anyway other than that, i'm slacking at home most of the time. Wished to go out, but going out alone isn't that interesting eh? And uh, Uniqlo is selling plain long sleeved tees at $9.99! It doesn't look that bad, so i'm gonna get a few.

Yess finally the 4 days of Comex is over!

Very tiring. It's like selling your legs for money.

Of course it's fun. Worked with joan and her bro. And there're babes to see! And of course there are assholes everywhere as well. Hmm, normal.

Although there is one particular ugly ah beng asshole that we all hate. I super hate when people blow smoke into my face. And snatch sales. And ugly mustaches. And ugly golden long hair. Ugly thick brows. Well, you get the idea.

And we were lucky to get a good reseller. He is just damn nice to everyone of us. Poor joan's bro got Challenger, CPF payable plus a whole load of 包青天 at the booth.

Anyway bp got into the army last friday. No more random compass point hangout from now on. Oh well, i have to live with it. I think he'll be fine, although only Serene will know.

Nicholas went in as well. Well all couples with bf going in are going to go through this stage. All the best to them.

And i've got my filters. +3, +4 close-up and 25A red filter at only $35! Cheap shit! Time to sell my Smena 8m. I'm thinking of getting a Diana F+.

Kiasu Aunties. Very horrible. Horrible to the max.

I just met one, cut my queue. After cutting my queue, went off to other cashiers and then came back to the Express Counter, told me, "Sorry ah those are for big items." And she has the "I-will-make-a-scene-and-give-you-the-look" face. So i let her be.

I know, i'm a coward. But still i gave her the killer intent stare. Yeah i wish i can tear her limb from limb.

And i remember the day when i worked with serene and tilynn at the discovery centre. Me and serene giving out balloons for the "Early birds".

Well u know, "free" is the word that attracts those scavengers. They came flocking over asking for one even though they don't have the early bird coupon.

And they gave stupid excuses like, "sorry i lost my coupon", "my son really want one really bad are you really going to let him cry". And worse still, some people offer money, and i rmb one guy stood there with his wallet and negotiating the price with me.

And the worse is, 1 horrible auntie. Came and beg. Yes beg, i'm not kidding. Trying to persuade and beg us for the balloon. And some even got hostile. Scolding us. I mean COME ON it's just a balloon, why go to such extend to make yourself look like an idiotic bitch.

Of course, not to mention the mrt and bus. I guess lots of people have seen that already.

It's 2:40am in the morning, and i'm still not really asleep yet.

Still trying to practice the exam questions from past year papers.

Which suddenly brought my interest to fountain pens.

I feel like getting a fountain pen, but a decent pen costs around $36.

I used to have a fountain pen. China made. From my primary school teacher Mrs Poh.

She's one of my favourite teacher, and she gave us fountain pens as gifts one day. I think it was called "Hero 336".

I super like that pen, and i write it everyday. You know, it makes very nice lines and drawing with it is fantastic.

Well until one day, when i was writing my secret journal, my mom decided to pop up behind me and the pen fell. Tip 1st.

Well you guessed right, it went from a nice V shaped tip to a U shape tip. Pretty sad.

I think i shouldn't buy anything on impulse. Maybe i should wait till after Comex. When i'm rich.

Then i shall get a fountain pen. And camera filters. And itouch. And larger dry box. And new external hard disk.

Omg i think i'll be left with $0.17 if i buy everything. LOL.

Oh well i'll see how much i make 1st.

Cause they were talking very loudly. At 1st we thought a child was lost and looking for home.

Thurs Night @ Timbre and Eskibar

Went some light drinking at Timbre on Thurs with serene, bp, grace and tilynn. This is the 2nd time i went there, the 1st time with the clique.

Settled a deal with a guy on the $5 for 60> pieces of dvd and cd cases at toa payoh before heading there.

The initial destination was Timbre@the substation, we ended up going Timbre@the arts house instead.

Ordered 2 pints of heineken with bp, and got a free super delicious buffalo chicken pizza with ultra crispy thin crust and tasty toppings! LOL.

Well, it's now a bloody warm bar with half of the area turning into a storeroom. And i rmb someone mention this happens because of global warming. LOL.

And we ordered another round of beer. Corona. Well, this beer sucks. Even cheap beer tasted better.

Woah!

Such a great evening! Feels nice to hang out with friends and drink once in awhile. If wallet permits that is.

Went home feeling slightly drunk. And slightly broke. LOL.

And yesterday! Diligently open up that package of 2nd-hand dvd and cd cases and started Dettol-ing them. And printed some dvd covers for my games. Took me the whole afternoon but it does feel satisfying when you organise your stuff!

Today's my 11th year moving into Seng Kang!

Yeah i used to live in Serangoon. Very nice place there.

I'm planning to do a "nostalgia" theme shoot using Velvia 50 after my Lucky SHD 100 on my Canon AT-1.

When you're sitting behind a computer screen, typing words of hurt is so easy. And vice versa.

But when you actually receive messages of hate and vulgarities, it actually doesn't feel so bad.

You'll have time to think and throw it back 10x more. Which makes receiving these messages a kind of an enjoyment.

Poor cyber bastards.

Anyway, i worked for Joy today as a flyer distributor for Norton. $6/hr, for 4 hours. In SP, ending it before my lesson. $24, not bad, but it's a shit job. Trust me, next time people distribute these flyers, please take. It's one hell of a shit job with shit pay.

Will be going kite flying with wayne tomorrow. Uni starting, everyone moving. I'll be like, the only one left in Seng Kang after Sept. Sigh.

Hydrophobia

Yeah, i have fear of water. And naturally, swimming.

I used to be like, 70% afraid until lately. Now, when i dip into the water, i'll will panic if water gets into my eyes.

I remember when i was very young, like 5-6, my dad use to bring me to the beach. Like, weekly.

And he will carry me, walk into the deep sea, to the point where he had to tilt his face slightly upwards.

And he will carry me and keep telling me he's letting go.

I was crying like, shitloads. I was screaming for help but of course, my father let go of me LOL.

I remember we did this every week, for like 6-7 times.

Then comes primary 2.

My mom sign me up for my school's swimming CCA. I was in Yang Zheng Primary.

I remember going to the Serangoon Swimming Complex every tuesday after school.

And we had an instructor named "Mr Cat".

I remember, he would carry me to the middle of the pool, and ask me to practice frog style while holding my hand.

I was crying and crying until one day he kick me into the water. I quit a few weeks later behind my mom's back LOL.

Then came Wild Wild Wet this year. I was playing in the Shiok River trying to get on some of the floats.

Then i saw a small one and try to get on butt 1st into the hole. But i slipped and went in head 1st instead.

I was struggling for my life until i gave up and stopped breathing for a moment. Then the float came off.

If you're human, you'll probably develop hydrophobia after so many unfortunate events.

I hope army can spare me swimming. Or else i might be next in line to have a tombstone erected there LOL.

Oh yeah, and i found 4LR44 battery. After so many searches, turns out that Rivervale Mall's hardware shop was selling those for $5 each. And the mall was like, juz a 15 minutes walk away from my house LOL.

1. People closing down blogs/going private.
To me, blogs are the only way to keep track of friends' lives. But no one blogs lately anyway. And blogs are definitely a burden because it's not actually a place you can write your personal opinion/statement, because you likely ended up being flamed. More like a public forum than a "private journal". And since it's public, you wouldn't want to reveal too much of your private life eh? Be careful of ending up in Stomp. Hmm, maybe I should go private too.

2. Everyone has a blogshop.
I'm not screwing you. Let's see. Shirley, Joan, Li Wei, Christine, Xue Ting, and a few friends not in my Friends list. All selling female apparels of course. You can access their blogshops thru their blogs thru my Friends lists if you want. It's like nowadays everyone wants a piece of the internet shopping pie. Hmm, maybe i should open a blogshop too.

3. No updates.
I'm one of them too, but with a reason. Check a few blogs that has a last update day of 3 days ago. Prob you'll only find a few.

Once in a Blue Moon

You know, it's a long time since i went for movies. Really long time.

I went for a last minute movie trip with bp last night. And fairus and chris!

They are kinda of my Xbox Live gaming buds i play with every night. But we chatted on so much on Live that suddenly we just go on to hang out together LOL. They are bp's colleagues by the way.

And it's the 1st time i saw chris in person last night. And he commented that we chatted as though we've known each other for a very long time. LOL.

Anyway , we went to watch Transformers 2. Which all of them have already watched EXCEPT me. And it was fairus's treat for me cause I'm a poor bastard. (No more tomorrow! Paycheck to day WAHAHA)

I liked this sequel better than the 1st. If anyone still remember the 1st movie, there's so much slow-mo that i have no idea what is going on, and every few minutes I felt like vomiting LOL.

And as usual, megan fox's bouncing boobs are hot. LOL.

Went back for bubble tea and usual Live at home. Bad run last night.

Okay, that's about yesterday. Oh yeah, i can't believe i got an A- for a 2 man super last minute report! And a B+ for logbook. I'm very happy, of course i hope i'll not stray to being complacent.

I overdid a bit of Xbox today. That's the reason why i'm still here.

Anyway, school officially started this week, if you don't count MST. Timetable is slightly slacker, with lessons ending and switching time slots. But my 6 hour break marathon on tuesday is going to be destroyed.

Spent a whole 3 hours in the library on tuesday with Tiff. Doing class gossips. I can't believe i am gossiping, but the gossips makes me look at the class a whole new way. And i think FC3's horrible western changed vendor, cause it's cheaper now and NICER.

Andddddd there's group assignment again. I hate group assignments. I so wish to jump group but, that will be sooo assholic, if you know what i mean.

And my paycheck is coming this friday. I hope the GSS is still on because i haven't buy anything yet! I should have enough money to buy a shirt and pants after debt paying. LOL.

Oh yeah, and chalet's damn fun. Check out facebook for photos! No one send photos to each other anymore, which is kinda annoying. Facebook and their low resolution bullcrap.

And i've gotten pretty good results with MST. 1st time. I am sooo satisfied! Although the class is a competitive hell.

School hasn't officially started yet. It's MST week. Tomorrow IS my last paper. Life feels so great with only 2 papers to complete LOL.

It's hard to pick up the notes to study. But once you started, the time just flew past fast and before you know it, you barely have enough time to complete. It's somehow like jogging. Hard to start, hard to stop. LOL.

And there's no news of my pay. Hmm i wonder how long it will take. Cuz i'm currently in a shitloads of debts. And i mean shitloads.

And there's my secondary school gathering chalet this weekend. At Sentosa! I just love chalets a lot a lot. But i'm having money issues right now. Gotta plan ahead abit.

Okay i shall now isolate myself and pick up my notes. I'll see if i can finish before 8:30pm. There's a show on CNA later featuring retro gadgets. I briefly saw vintage cameras flashing past the screen in the preview clip during commercials. Gotta check those out!

Sometimes you just have super weird and long dreams you know.

Even though it's just a short 1 hour nap.

I had one just now.

I was doing my usual photography trip with bp and serene. At some old abandon air force base or something.

Surprisingly there's lots of people over there. They were having a strike or something.

We went off to have some of our photographic business. It was in the evening.

Suddenly everyone was screaming. I saw an explosion right in front of my eyes. With a flash of white.

I immediately knew it was an atomic bomb. I was sweating a lot.

And i told bp that, i think we are all going to have cancer 10 years down the road, and my camera's film is busted. LOL.

We climbed a small hill while bp went to flag a cab.

I saw lots of automatic film rewinder on the grass patch. I was so tempted to take one. But the cab came.

We went back and I went to have a stay over at my old place in serangoon. With the clique.

We had fun through out the night, and strangely enough, my brain didn't do the skip.

We slept and woke up in the morning. Everyone was busy.

Fiona and shirley commented that janet looks very beautiful. I caught a glimpse of her in a slightly transparent blue dress with a white dress worn inside. Nice. I think she was preparing for a date with jeremy.

Violet was telling fiona and shirley that she's "beautiful too okayyyy". LOLL. (It's so strange that she appeared in my dream! =S)

I went to the kitchen to brush my teeth. Joan came over and loaded the fridge with huge cakes of SCS butter. And i mean huge like a birthday cake.

And she ask me how to make that delicious spread. I told her just add butter, sugar and egg white. (I have no idea what spread that recipe is going to make LOL.)

And Salome Ang came over to make breakfast for us. Some tofu and ham thing i have no idea LOL.

It's quite sometime since i've blogged eh?

Quite alot has happened. Alot alot alot.

PC Show last week. Sales seemed great. The 2 bosses are super duper jackasses. (From Saibermind, if you know where. I don't want anyone related to find this blog LOL.)

And lately i've been borrowing so much money from my sister that i don't think i have enough for shopping when the actual pay comes.

Bought an At-1! Cool little shit and it's as heavy as hell. But still, the weight made it feel so solid.

Had an super duper international buffet with family the week before. And a super duper korean lunch with wailing and her sis! =D

And logbook, report, datasheets are still piling up. Now's vacation week 2's wednesday! =(

Oh yeah and we went to find shirley on monday at SGH. IT'S HER BIRTHDAY! ..if anyone doesn't know haha! It's still not too late to wish her, you know.

And i'm still very worried about my homework. Report is with khariana and zirong. The problem is, they are nowhere to be found and they promise to meet online and do it like, this week?

Datasheet is with another friend. And he keeps disappearing also. Doesn't reply on msn. Pfft.

there lived Men and Women, as individuals.

They came together, and found out that surviving became easier.

Thus, they decided to build a civilization.

It was a tough process, and some men and women fell behind as a result.

Never the less, the people stayed together and made it enjoyable,

One day, they reached the Golden Age of human civilization.

And some individuals began to think,

"I think i should lead this civilization through this Golden Age."

The Men and Women began to think for themselves.

Each of them, who had once oversee their difference,

began to see them clearly once again.

Weapons and shields were gathered,

civilians were drafted to form armies,

and the battle began.

One by one each of them fell,

and the victory was nowhere near.

In the end, all the Men and Women who once built this civilization,

fell it with their own hands.

The land was once again bare,

with the children of the forefathers littered across the land.

The Distant Worlds concert was amazing!

Who knows that the legendary Nobuo Uematsu will be there! And I'm so glad we bought the first row!

Although we only get to see the conductor's ass and only the violins and cellos and 3/4 of the screen, i've got to see Nobuo Uematsu up so close, that i can literally grab him by his leg LOL.

It's another week of school.

Sort of a healthier version of sleeping pills.

It's really difficult living between 2 worlds.

Yeah. Double life.

On one hand, i have the clique.

On the other hand, i have the school.

The thing about living a double life, is that you'll either drift further away from one, or, drift away from both.

You can never keep the two. Never. Unless you have those multiple personality disorder or something.

Somehow now, i don't know anyone anymore. What are they doing, what are they going to do, where are they, where are they doing the stuff that they're gonna do, and so on.

I don't care about the latter. More of the former.

It's kinda depressing. But, nvm. Life goes on right? Words for losers by losers.

I'm so into film photography lately. So interested, that i actually forgot that i bought my Smena 8M for lomography. Nehh well, i still think my Smena 8M is the best $70 spent on a camera ...EVER.

Anyway, It's Sunday today, and time flies really fast when you're slacking through the precious weekend. And the time flies even faster when you're having 2 assignments piling over your head and slacking though it. Amazing.

And tomorrow will be another boring day in school. I know, "yada yada yada your post is boring". It's because my life is boring! Doesn't this just solve the mysterious paradox that has been bugging everyone ever since.. forever? Now we know.

I'll be going my 1st official PTN this Thursday, ever since the official PTN in Year 1! Honestly, i'm excited. You know, class bonding stuff makes me tingle. But we're going the Singapore Flyer! Time to start a new roll on my Smena! =D

Lately, people just seems to not update their blogs frequently.

Well, my school started. It's been 4 days already. TGIF tml!

Well, school IS soul-sucking. Although nothing has barely started yet. Being unable to follow through your classmates can take a toll in the mind. Well, it's the 1st week, so yeah.

It's been quite some time since i see anyone (of you). Well, at least i saw wailing last thurs. I missed the ECP trip too.

Anyway i'm having ridiculously long breaks in school. And i'm starting not to eat lunch in school anymore. Come to think of it, i haven't been eating lunch in school since school started. Although there's Subway. *slurp*

Joshua sng said that i slim down alot. Which i believe it's not in a good way. That's just impossible! I've been eating and sitting and sleeping and shitting the whole holiday! Must be the striped shirt i was wearing. Yeah. Striped shirt.

I have 6 hours of break?! To spend alone?! What am i suppose to do in school?? This is bullshit, thank you very much, SAS. I hope you can sleep in peace.

Oh by the way, kite-flying will be suspended until further notice. The $1.50 kite broke, Prime mart is not selling them anymore, and we have to get the semi-pro ones from the kite flying man by the field. And after we get the kites, prob me and wayne will be the only ones going. Everyone seems to be dragging their feets there everyweek. Not a good idea of a weekly outing.
